“In this particular project, plywood has been partly replaced with RECOMA’s boards made from recycled beverage cartons, and to make the wall more visually exciting, Wood Tube studs and hemp insulation add the finishing touch. Through smart material choices and innovative solutions, we can reduce the industry’s environmental impact. Perhaps this is how we should build more in the future—with resource-efficient products from the forest? We are excited to finally present ERW GreenWALL—a system for interior walls built from Wood Tube studs, RECOMA building boards, and EKOLUTION hemp fiber insulation 🎉. This wall system, consisting primarily of recycled and bio-based materials, can reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 83% compared to traditional interior walls 🌱.The development has been carried out together with AMF Fastigheter AB, where Johan Lindskog and Michael Eskils have been the driving forces. AMF is now the first to build using the system. In the video, Anne-Lill Lindholm explains why they are involved in developing climate-smart building solutions.Testing and certification have been performed by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, which has issued a Swedish Type Approval covering fire and sound classifications. At its highest rating, the system achieves fire resistance class EI 120 and 56 dB sound insulation 🔥.A big thank-you to Piere Tengroth and SMK Entreprenad for their excellent work on the installation!”
