Recoma’s board was used in the walls when NCC in Västerås renovated the S Building at Mälardalen University. The S Building is an ambitious and innovative reuse project with stringent sustainability requirements. By using Recoma, 27.5 tonnes of waste was used to construct the walls.

In a residential rental building in Hyllie, Malmö, constructed by ETC Bygg, Recoma Packwall was used in several of the walls beneath a layer of plasterboard. In addition, our Recoma Floorboard was used in the floors as part of the Granab floor joist system. In this case, two boards were laid on top of wood wool in the floors. The result is exemplary sound insulation.

Our construction board replaced chipboard or gypsum flooring in a 3-visjon house near Idre. Combined with the concrete-saving Gretagrunden® foundation and plastic-free wall elements, it contributed to major CO₂ savings. The board met the project’s environmental and performance requirements while delivering excellent results with underfloor heating.

The project involved reducing the store area of Elgiganten. The remaining part was completely renovated with new walls, paint, new interior, and new lighting with extensive control to make it as energy-efficient as possible. Our project manager suggested replacing the drywall specified in the project with a board made from recycled waste from the manufacturer RECOMA.
